I am a living organism and I exist with other people. Humanity is still my priority.

I capture, layer, and texturize the soul of every story that I tell through lighting design.

I am a firm believer that the product of my process is my art.

Whether conceptual, experimental, emotional, or formal, the process we develop yields the image of what we produce.

The heart that is full of joy, love, and respect in humanity is why I create.

A key player in a collaboration revealing drama on this very platform of art called "theatre".

Cha is from Manila, Philippines based in New York City. A lighting designer for theatre, environmental performance and on-site installations.

Cha received her MFA in Lighting Design in New York University. She has been awarded by the International Theatre Makers Award 2021, Shubert Foundation, Lew and Edie Wasserman Scholarship and Tisch School of the Arts Department Fellowship.
